First things first

First things first

Whether this is your first Sidetrack or your tenth, it’s designed to take you out of your regular day and help you breathe a little easier. Are you ready to forget about this morning for a while? If not, go run around the block (not really, unless you’re into that kind of thing) and get your head in the game, or out of it. You know what we mean. Set aside all those things that occupied your mind until this lunch break.

If this Sidetrack has any chance of working, you’ll need to do your part - Surrender and Get Sidetracked!

Feeling overwhelmed by demands on your time, ambiguity on a huge project, needing to feel some relief from everything, that 3 o’clock you wish you postpone forever…whatever makes sense for you.    Write it in code if you can’t risk someone else seeing it. You know, “the mouse ran away with the cheese” means “Peter dropped the ball on the project and now we're all stuck waiting for him to catch up.” Maybe that’s too obvious, but you get the idea.    Another way to hide it is to write the first letter of the word or phrase really big, then attach smaller versions of the rest of the letters all over it in random order.
